I left school at 16. started scammells on a 4 year apprentership but completed it in 2 .

I worked in the prototype area & also the heavy vehicle section until it closed in 1988.

went from there to help set up the new unipower factory which bought the rights to build

the heavy vehicles that scammells once built. I 've been involved in the truck manufacturing industry and Prototype, Service side for all my working life. I am now my own boss in partnership with my friend nathan running Protruck Services.

32 years I must be mad.
