This is a monster of a project, certainly the cab, but the potential of a superb now rare Scammell Crusader heavy haulier.

It is a 6x4 tractor unit with a 3 inch pin fifth wheel coupling and has a fabulous sounding 8v71 series Detroit diesel and 15 speed fuller range change gearbox.

With good batteries she is on the button and can be loaded onto a suitable lowloader with ease.

I think the gross train weight is about 65,000kgs.

The lorry originally came from Essex, a company called Bent-Marshall ,then Honer

There is now no ballast box/tray on the back ,just the original fifth wheel coupling and no v5
